At The Beginning...

As the sun sets over the beautiful ocean, I sit on a hill,
playing my Guitar and singing, wondering why it had to turn out this way.

…Sitting, look in my hand, it’s not the answer…

My hands, I stop playing and look at my hands, all the scars
from my past, physical and emotional, show on my hands. The many times I have
tried to hurt myself, because I couldn’t deal with the pain…

…It’s falling on me, Fly, I just wanna fly…someday I’ll
cry alone… 

I go back to playing, and look far into the distance, as
crystal tears fall down my face, wishing you were here, that you were still
alive, to hold me in your arms.

…Falling…

I put down the Guitar, unable to play any longer. I’m almost
in hysterics now, I pull out a locket from my pocket, and open it…it contains
the picture of you, your face, all smiling and carefree, before the accident…

---------2 years before---------

“You sure you’ll be okay, the weather doesn’t look good…” I
said.

“I’ll be fine, don’t you worry” You had said and gave me a
quick kiss…

“Well, I’ll see you when you get back” You said and climbed
in the car.

If only I knew what was going to happen to you, I would of
ran and wrapt my arms around, beg to stay until the weather let up, I wouldn’t
of let you go, I never told you how much I loved you…

The car had pulled out of the driveway, and I waved you off…

That night, the weather took a turn for the worst; I knew
you had to travel during the night as well, so I was really worried about you…

A phone call at 2 in the morning confirmed my worst fears…

I rang my father to take me to the hospital, I jumped out as
soon as we got thereand the nurse told me that you were in the emergency theatre…

My father and I sat outside it for 5 or 6 hours, I lost
track of time.

The Surgeon came out…

“Please” I cried, jumping up “you have to tell me “he is
going to be alright?”

The surgeon was silent for a moment…

“I’m so sorry, miss, he...he didn’t make it…”

At that point, the world around me shattered, I felt like my heart had broken
in two…

My father went to see your body, lying on the table, and I
followed him shortly afterwards…

We attended your funeral 2 weeks later…

We buried you in you normal clothes, so you would be
comfortable in the next world. Your black jeans, black shirt, with your long
black coat, top hat and your usual jewellery, and I gave you my dog collar…

---------End Flashback---------

Thinking about the past made me only cry harder, I pulled
the blade I kept in my pocket out, and ran my finger along the edge of it…

I cut the top of my hand, nothing serious, but seeing the
blood made me feel a little better…

I stood up, while the blood ran down my hand.

I walked and stood at the edge of a cliff and looked out at the
ocean, I thought that the world would be better off without me, if I wasn’t here, if I died I would see you again… my sweet Alexander… I’m coming, on that last
thought, I inhaled deeply turned around and fell off the cliff…
